CANIS
MAXIMUS

The greatest dog of the Empire. Wears the laurel. Drapes the purple. Holds the bag like a senator. Conquered Gaul, Britannia, and one very small section of the chart.

The Contract

Carved in marble. Stamped with the imperial seal. Filed on Solana, which the Empire considers a province.

— FOUR IMPERIAL VIRTUES —

The Code of the Emperor

Engraved on the inside of the marble throne, where nobody can read them but Maximus knows they're there.

Gravitas

One does not panic. One does not refresh the chart between meals. One sits on the marble throne, perfectly still, until the candle either turns green or someone brings dinner.

Dignitas

One does not chase pumps. One waits for pumps to come kneel and offer tribute. One nods. One returns to the marble. One does not screenshot.

Pietas

One honors the holders who came before. The legions of paper hands who fell at the Battle of Wick. The brave souls who copied the wrong address. We remember them at every conclave.

Virtus

Excellence in all matters, including the ratio of treats to belly rubs. Maximus expects both. Maximus has earned both. Maximus shall not be denied either.

Canis Maximus portrait

Born in a villa.
Crowned by the Senate.
Held by the people.

The histories disagree. Some say Maximus was discovered as a pup in a wicker basket beside the Tiber. Others insist he descended from a long line of imperial Shibas dating back to Romulus himself. The Senate, citing tradition, has not asked too many questions.

What is documented: the laurel fits. The purple is his color. The marble throne creaks under his exact weight. The Empire holds. The chart, mostly, also holds.

$MAXIMUS is a parody memecoin honoring a Shiba who, in a hypothetical universe, runs an empire on imperial nap schedule.

The helm is bronze.
The vow is short.

Maximus prefers not to wear armor — the bronze chafes — but his guard insists. The helmet sits beside the throne, polished, ceremonial. It has never been struck. Maximus has never been threatened.

The Empire does not negotiate. The Empire naps. The Empire wakes briefly when the chart moves and then returns, with great dignity, to napping.
